Fun Fact: I like to edit skateboard videos

Unpopular opinion, but I firmly believe that Final Cut Pro X is THE supreme editing software of all editing softwares. I discovered my passion for video editing in middle school, creating videos with my friends and using iMovie. I consumed an unhealthy amount of video content when I was young, so I was really interested in learning how certain visual effects in film and media were achieved. I spent the majority of my free time fascinated watching VFX tutorials and breakdowns online, but it was really difficult to translate what I was watching into something tangible by using iMovie.

That's when I made the switch to Final Cut Pro, and I haven't looked back since. Over the years, I’ve continued to edit videos for friends and family, learning to interweave clips within the rhythms of storytelling. Somewhere along the way, I realized that editing could be more than just a hobby, and could be something worth pursuing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ?!

My goal as the TTV Project Manager is to provide our members with practical hands-on experience behind the camera and on the cutting room floor. By working exclusively with student organizations on campus, we can use our network of talented creatives to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
